IMEC Message

In the name of Allah the Most Merciful the Most Compassionate, I would like to welcome our distinguished guests,
participating in the International Conference on “Stem Cells: from Theory to Practice”, organized by the Innovative Medical Environment Commission (IMEC) at Ajman University of Science and Technology (AUST) Network, in collaboration with the Ajman Medical Zone (AMZ).

We are pleased to host this event in the presence of researchers and specialists from a large number of national, regional and international institutions. I believe that this event will provide an opportunity for the distinguished speakers, as well as academics and clinicians, to exchange expertise and enrich their experience in stem cells research and practice, as well as providing a showcase for their latest research activities.

Ajman University of Science and Technology Network was established in 1988 as a University College of Science and Technology, transferred to a full university in 1998, and emerged as a university network in three dimensions: education, information and Investment. The educational philosophy of AUST Network is based on five domains: teaching, research, training, expertise and practice.

On these bases the IMEC was founded to overlook all health and medical activities throughout the network, with a main focus on quality rather than quantity. To achieve our objectives, IMEC has organized several regional and international approach seminars, conferences and Technosphere events in different areas of medical sciences and practice.

The goals of this conference include:

Enlighten the professionals about the most recent advances in stem cells research developments and applications, its success and risks in the management of different diseases.
Provide the doctors/professionals with the necessary knowledge needed to effectively advice patients interested in stem cells therapy.
Demonstrate stem cells future impact in the fields of pharmacy and dentistry.
Explain stem cells therapy from a religious (Islamic) and legal perspective.
Investigate opportunities for future cooperation in the field of academia and research.
The conference will be enriched by contributions of such an international panel of prominent physicians, researchers, scientists and practitioners in the field.

In conclusion, it is my sincere hope that each participant at this international gathering would be able to benefit from such an important event. I wish that your participation

will be of an added value to each of you, and that the outcomes of this conference would serve to advance stem cells research and practices. I extend my sincere thanks to our valued guests, participants, sponsors, and organizing committee members, and to all those who have contributed to ensure the success of this conference.
